Safari Itinerary Summary

Days 1 to 3

On arrival into Livingstone you will be met and our driver will take you to Waterberry Lodge, a retreat some 30 minutes drives from Livingstone. Surrounded by manicured lawns, with wonderful views to the game park across the river, this lodge is in the heart of the wild.
The lodge has a relaxed atmosphere that works perfectly for families and even has a four bedroom private farmhouse for larger get togethers.
Enjoy water based activities on the river with stunning sunset and dawn cruises to spot river birds and game. As an additional activity there is a fabulous opportunity to take a guided walk to see the small herd of White Rhino in Mosi- Oa- Tunya National Park.

Days 4 to 6

Today you will head off with a flight into the Kruger and then by road to the Southern section of the renowned Sabi Sands Private Reserve. Nottens Bush Camp is family owned and one of the original private game lodges in South Africa.
The pristine wilderness is home to 145 mammal species including the Big 5 and endangered species such as African wild dog and 500+ bird species. Driving or being guided on foot by experienced rangers will bring you as close as you will ever get to true nature, the African way. With daily guided tours from early morning to late night drives, this African safari will deliver a truly authentic experience.

Days 7 to 11

Safari in the morning and be on the beach in the afternoon!.. You will fly directly from Sabi Sands to the fishing village of Vilanculos, Mozambique. From there, a 45 minute boat trip across the Indian Ocean will deliver you to the Anantara Bazaruto Resort & Spa, on the western side of Bazaruto island, with clear turquoise waters and white palm lined beaches. The marine life is exceptional being one of the best places to dive in Africa with coral reefs harbouring colourful reef fish, turtles, rays and reef sharks. If you are lucky, even find a dugong, manta ray, whale shark or migrating humpback whales. Or simply relax on the beach, sip cocktails, go on a sunset dhow cruise or explore the island with a guide to gain a fascinating insight into the daily lives of the locals.

Day 12

Depart your lodge by scenic boat or helicopter trip to Vilanculos for your onward journey.
