Exceptional service is the hallmark at this privately owned and run exquisite lodge. Delight in island lunches, social, hosted meals or romantic candlelit dinners all served with the attentive care in which Tongabezi prides itself.
Lodge activities include: sunrise and sunset boat trips on the Zambezi, guided canoeing excursion depending on water levels and hippo activity, lunch on a local island with guided walk, fishing, visit to the Victoria Falls on the Zambian Side, game drive to the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park, walk in the gorge below the Falls, cultural visit to the Livingstone Museum, a local village excursion or just spend lazy days by the pool.

Days 5 to 8

Today you will head off to the Kruger to Chitwa Chitwa Game Lodge in the Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve. Originally a private family retreat, Chitwa enjoys a place of pride on the banks of one of the largest lakes in this exclusive Game Reserve. Each Suite has its own private pool for relaxation inbetween game viewing. This is a favourite of ours - it is a stylish, owner run lodge providing a 5 star experience.
Sabi Sands is internationally famous for its Big 5 sightings (lion, leopard, rhino, elephant & buffalo). There are many other species to find on game drives including cheetah, wild dog, zebra, giraffe and plains game. Highly qualified guides and Shangaan trackers ensure an unforgettable African safari by enriching the experience with their profound knowledge regarding this animal kingdom and its complex habitat.

Days 9 to 13

Safari in the morning and be on the beach in the afternoon!.. You will fly directly from Sabi Sands to Vilanculos, Mozambique and from there take a helicopter transfer to the Bazaruto Archipelago and Benguerra Island Lodge, surrounded by turquoise Indian Ocean waters and white sandy beaches.
Activities offered at Benguerra include sea kayaking, sunset dhow cruises and village visits. There is a fully equipped PADI dive centre offering snorkelling excursions, fishing charters, horse riding and castaway picnics and island expeditions.
