You will walk from camp to camp in the remote Eastern Zambia following the animal footpaths. The route follows the well-worn elephant and hippo trails, not to mention the original footsteps of David Livingstone, through the Luangwa Valley.
The camp is located in an exclusive walking-only area with no roads or other people.
Chikoko Tree Camp is situated 8km upstream from Tafika. Here three twin chalets are raised above the ground ensuring that they sit, rather romantically, within the surrounding tree canopies. The Camp has uniquely raised en-suite chalets to enhance the views of the spectacular surrounding Acacia grove and the array of wildlife that frequent it.
Hand-built rustic two-tier bushcamp made from wood and dried grass.
Open 25 May – 31 Oct
