Located in the heart of the Okavango Delta, in the midst of thousands of hectares of private wilderness, Kwara nestles on the edge of a permanent lagoon.

Kwara is a traditional tented safari camp of just eight guest tents.  It is designed to be a home from home.

The beautifully appointed tents are situated both sides of the main area and look out onto the floodplain or the permanent lagoon.  Each tent is on raised on a teak deck which has easy chairs and is a great place to relax in private in between activities. The rooms are simply but elegantly furnished with Zimbabwean teak furniture complementing the feel of the camp.  The beds are placed to look out onto the view, and there is also a writing desk and chair.  To the back of the room is the en-suite bathroom with flush wc, double basin and outside shower, with hot and and cold running water.

The main area has a bar, lounge, fire pit, dining area, and a hide.  Guests are encouraged to help themselves from the bar, but someone is always on hand to assist if necessary.

Traditional meru style tents.

The tents are all built on wooden decks with verandas.

All tents have en-suite facilities with outdoor shower.
