One of the original lodges in the area, Ivory Lodge is set amongst indigenous flora, its thatched units constructed on stilts amidst teak trees. 7 “tree-houses,” 2 spacious, tented suites on stilts, and one ground-level family unit offer comfortable accommodation, private decks and beautiful views over the plains and an active waterhole.
The open style of the accommodation ensures visitors have an intimate bush experience in a natural wilderness. The central thatch zones flow out to gardens, a fire pit and a shaded pool. In the evenings, the floodlit waterhole may be best appreciated from an upstairs library.
Thatched wooden and canvassed elevated rooms all overlooking a private and very active waterhole.
The rooms are about 4 metres off the floor offering sweeping views of the vlei and surrounding bush, as well as allowing privacy and an intimate safari experience.
Open all year round
